Seyfarth, Arumugham and Bickam, U South Mississippi.

A realization of Linda based on the Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM 3.x) software system.

Glenda was developed to make use of both Linda's and PVM's positive attributes, while at the same time improving on their shortcomings.  These were our primary goals for developing Glenda:
Preserve Linda's global tuple space model
Reduce the number of functions required to use PVM
Maintain PVM's message passing efficiency whenever required
    Maintain PVM's portability
Present Linda as an integral part of the host language.
