Two dimensional mathematical language

alternate simple view
Country: United States
Designed 1962
Published: 1962
Genus: Multiline
Sammet category: Numerical Scientific

System developed at Los Alamos by Balke and Carter to permit natural expression of mathematical problems using a 2d format.
Ran on IBM 7030 (STRETCH) and used the experimental IBM 9210 Scientific Descriptive Printer to print the formulae.
