Initial Von Neumann computer language, and the initial mechanism for storing programs in memory, established by Von Neumann, Mauchly and Eckhart

Computer designed by J. Prosper Eckert and John Mauchly at Moore School PA between 1943-45. Had conditional branching ("magnitude discrimination") and nested loops (via the Master Programmer). It could operate parallel caclulations in different arithmetic units.
