Abstract: The description is given of a new graphic interpretive language that makes it possible to program a display-focal. The display-focal programme is an expansion of the FOCAL-69 interpretive language and furnishes new capabilities in using the raster display of the NE601-1 type. The display-focal programme operates with variables in the form with a floating comma. The user has a possibility of arranging the values of the variables in a converting form with a fixed comma in any memory module of the computer. The display-focal programme also makes it possible to obtain a printed copy from the screen and to change over to the programmes compiled in other languages. The experience has proved that the display-focal language is easy to master, the programmes are compiled and adjusted on this language quicker than on other languages of higher level
