PRESENT(ID:7687/)Data General's CODASYL DBMS language References: PRESENT is a fairly recent language which operates with Data General's CODASYL DBMS. Like OLQ2 it uses a PATH mechanism. However, if the user does not know about paths, and just supplies names of data items, PRESENT will attempt to find an existing path that will support the query.
