Abstract: Easy permits the use of a small CRT display and a typewriter-like keyboard for solving small algebraic problems on a remote computer, which is simultaneously serving other EASY users and doing larger, background computations. The problems may involve: the 26 real, scalar variables, A to 2; the operations +, -, *, /, and *; the functions sin, cos, atn, log, exp, and abs; the procedural operations for conditional and unconditional branching and looping; the input-output operations for entering and displaying up to four values, the assignment operation; and simple, user-defined functions.
