ru ru web page Korolev M.A is an author of numerous scientific works with total volume more then 300 author's sheets (of which more than 20 books, manuals and text-books) mainly dedicated to data processing in economics [5-10] and solving problems of meta information and algorithmization which were highly substantial for starting period of application of computers in economics. Theory of economic indicators as a subject of data processing, developed by him in his thesis for a competition of candidate of economic sciences degree [2,11], is practically implemented during creation of automated data bases. The first in the country algorithmic languages oriented on economics were created with his participation [12-14]. His theoretical researches were completed by creation of the Theory of Computerized Processing of Economic Information [15-18], university courses "Basics of the Theory of automated Processing of Economic Information" and "Information Systems and Structures of Data", and publication of the first in country text-books on information systems and structures of data [19-20]. Under his leadership were developed a number of implemented automated information systems, in particular, system of taking entrance examinations "Abiturient", computerized monitoring of decisions fulfillment, and managing a higher educational establishment [21-24], and first statistical data banks in the country. He focused attention on reforming of the institute, creating new specialties, chairs, scientific-research laboratories. He always carried on great educational and methodical work, delivered lectures, including in the Academy of the National Economy under the Council of Ministers of the USSR as its professor [25-27]. He was a scientific leader of more than 30 post-graduate students who got their scientific degrees. For his great services in development domestic science, statistics and training he was decorated with high government awards. Name of professor Korolev M.F. as outstanding scientist is well known not only in his country but abroad. Biographical entries about him have been published in the Soviet Encyclopaedia (1987), Yearbook of the Big Soviet Encyclopaedia (1987), reference books "Who's Who in Russia" (1997), "International Who's Who" (Europa Publications Ltd., United Kingdom, 1989 - 2001), "Outstanding People of the 20th Century", "2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 20th Century, "2000 Outstanding Scholars of the 20th Century", Who`s Who in the 21st Century (International Biographical Centre, United Kingdom) and other. |
