Programmers will be interested in the use of the programming language THAT. Very efficient use of storage and programming time has been achieved by the use of Boolean-square matrices made possible by THAT. As in many other studies, the scope of the simulation work has been restricted by the size of the computer used. Results obtained appear to justify the effort of computer simulation. The paper is of interest to both computer programmers and social psychologists.
