Al Davis' experimental data-driven system for the Burroughs DDM#1 (Data-Driven Machine Number 1) developed at the niversity of Utah in 1977, but based on his PhD system SPL. Effectively a recursive assembler, based on Glushkov's principles, and influenced by the dataflow systems of Dennis and Rodriguez. (To fully understand the system in all its elegance, Davis's 1978 paper must be consulted)

The machine (and to a lesser extent, the language) were designed as a proof of concept to Burroughs, while Davis was attached to the Burroush ADSC

An extension of the language (GPL) ran on the DDM2, built a few years after by Burroughs and Davis
