Successor to CL-I

"Work on the CL-II Programming System was begun by Computer Associates, Inc., in 1961 and was supported by a subcontract from Technical Operations, Inc. under contract AF33(600)-41896 with the Department of the Air Force. During 1962 and 1963 the work was supported by contract AF49 (638)-1183 with the Department of the Air Force. During 1964 and 1965 the work was supported by contract AF49(638)-1434, also with the Department of the Air Force"
